Description

This homemade pumpkin spice oat milk latte is creamy, delicious, and dairy free! It’s made on the stovetop and takes just a few minutes to make. Plus, you won’t have to spend money and drive all the way to the coffee shop!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (250 ml) oat milk
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin purée
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cinnamon stick*
  • 2 whole cloves*
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt
  • One shot of espresso
  • 12 tbsp maple syrup, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, whisk together the oat milk, pumpkin purée, vanilla extract, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Add the cinnamon stick and cloves and bring to a simmer.
  2. Once simmering, stir and simmer again for another minute.
  3. Remove from the heat and take out the cloves and cinnamon stick. Stir in the espresso and maple syrup.
  4. Pour into a mug and add back the cinnamon stick. Top with a dash of cinnamon and enjoy!

Notes

Cinnamon Stick & Cloves: While we recommend using these spices whole, you can substitute 1 stick of cinnamon for 1/2 tsp. Likewise, you can replace the whole cloves with a pinch of ground cloves.
