Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (907 g) cubed seedless watermelon about half an 8 pound watermelon
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • ½ tsp flaky sea salt
  • Mint leaves optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Add the watermelon, lime juice, and salt to a large blender and blend for a few seconds until smooth.
  • Strain into a pitcher using a fine mesh sieve, stirring the juice around with a spoon. Be careful not to push out the pulp/foam. You can also use a nut milk bag if you don't want any traces of foam at all.
  • Serve immediately over ice or at room temperature and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • This recipe makes about 3 cups or around 700 ml of strained juice.
  • The juice will start to separate and lose its flavor after a while, so it's best served fresh.
