Ingredients

  • ½ tbsp capers finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp chopped chives
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped dill
  • 2 tbsp yuzu juice
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 4 oz (113 g) cream cheese
  • 6 oz (170 g) smoked salmon
  • 8 slices thin sandwich bread

Instructions

  • Add the capers, chives, dill, yuzu juice, pepper, and cream cheese to a medium bowl.
  • Stir with the back of a spoon to smooth it down until fully incorporated and creamy.
  • Chop the smoked salmon into small chunks and add it to the cream cheese mixture. Stir to combine.
  • Evenly distribute the mixture onto the bread to create 4 sandwiches, leaving a small gap around the border. Using a sharp knife, cut off the crusts and cut the sandwiches into 8 triangles or rectangles.

Notes

  • You can use lemon juice in place of the yuzu juice.
  • The recipe makes 4 full sandwiches which make 8 smaller tea sandwiches.
