This creamy Whipped Feta with Za'atar is topped with spicy Aleppo chili oil and can be served as a delicious appetizer or side spread. It's incredibly easy to make and made with only a few ingredients so you'll have it ready in no time!
For the chili oil, add the Aleppo pepper and garlic to a small heatproof bowl. Add the oil to a small pan over medium heat.
Once bubbles appear and the oil starts to shimmer, turn off the heat and pour the hot oil over the garlic and chili flakes. It should bubble and sizzle.
Stir the chili oil to combine everything and set aside to cool while you make the feta.
For the whipped feta, crumble the feta block into a food processor and add the yogurt, za'atar, and lemon juice. Blend to combine.
With the processor running, drizzle in the 2 tbsp of olive oil and the water. Scrape down the processor and continue blending and scraping until the feta is smooth and creamy.
Transfer the whipped feta to a serving plate then drizzle the chili oil on top and sprinkle with more za'atar.
