If you’ve ever wanted to make a specialty cafe drink at home, this Roasted Banana Hojicha Latte is the perfect thing to make on a cozy weekend. It’s made with hojicha tea, homemade banana milk, and a layer of salted vanilla sweet cream.

Roasted Banana Hojicha Latte with Salted Vanilla Cream.

This is such a fun drink to make and the first time we made it our thoughts immediately went to banana bread. The roasted flavors of the banana and hojicha tea go so well together, and a little bit of cinnamon adds a touch of warmth.

There are three layers to this Roasted Banana Hojicha Latte. The first is banana milk, the second is the hojicha tea, and the third is salted vanilla cream. The latter is nice and sweet which complements the mildly sweet banana milk and hojicha layers. A generous pinch of flaky sea salt in the sweet cream also sharpens the flavors and brings in that sweet and salty element that we love so much.
