This Starbucks-inspired Chocolate Cream Cold Brew is layered with iced coffee and homemade chocolate sweet cream. It’s wonderfully smooth and only takes a few minutes to make in the morning!
We originally weren’t going to put this Chocolate Cream Cold Brew on the blog, but we make it so often that we figured it deserved a spot here. The plush layer of chocolate cold foam is perfectly sweet and complements the black cold brew underneath.
We much prefer this homemade version to the original Starbucks drink. It’s not only delicious, but also so simple to make and takes less time than ordering and waiting for one at the coffee shop.
Ingredient Notes
Find the full list of ingredients, measurements, and instructions in the recipe card below!
- Cold Brew Coffee: We like using nitro cold brew but regular is fine too.
- Chocolate Malted Milk Powder: We use Carnation milk powder.
- Light Agave Nectar: You can substitute it with pure maple syrup.
- Vanilla Bean Paste: The flavor is better than extract, but you can use the extract if that’s what you have on hand.
